If the three months of the current year are compared to the same period of the previous year the positive trends are observed in such activities as textile and garment manufacture – by 40.9%, metallurgy – by 25%, food processing industry – by 4.2%, leather and footwear manufacture – by 3.1%, paper-and-pulp industry, printing industry – by 2.1%.

On the whole, the industrial production index in the first quarter of 2016 is 2.3 percentage less than in the first quarter of this year.
