Fasteners of the BERVEL plant were sent by sea for the construction of 110 kV "Pevek - Bilibino" overhead lines, which will connect with the Akademik Lomonosov floating nuclear power plant.

The project is being implemented in connection with the upcoming reconstruction of the Chaun-Bilibino power system due to the decommissioning of the power units of the Bilibino NPP, which has exhausted its resource.

The construction object is interesting not only because it will provide the transit of electricity from the world's first floating nuclear power plant. The scale of the project also attracts attention - the length of the two single-circuit lines "Pevek - Bilibino" will be 490.6 km, while the work will be carried out in the northernmost region of Russia. Construction in such extreme conditions is approached especially carefully, including the choice of fasteners.

For the construction of single-circuit transmission lines "Pevek - Bilibino" the fasteners BERVEL were chosen - and this choice was made deliberately. In the modern laboratory center ZVK "BERVEL" special tests of fasteners are carried out for the suitability of their use in cold climates. In addition, BERVEL products comply with international quality standards, and hot-dip galvanized coating provides reliable anti-corrosion resistance of fasteners.
