Ruppur is a nuclear power plant under construction according to the Russian NPP-2006 project. The chosen site for the construction of the station is located on the eastern bank of the Padma River, 160 kilometers from the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka.

In the autumn of 2013, the foundation stone of the future power plant was laid. The plant will consist of two power units with modern reactors with a capacity of 1200 MW each, the life cycle of which is 60 years with the possibility of extension for another 20 years.

Cargo delivery to Bangladesh is not an easy question. Specialists of ZVK BERVEL have worked out the issue of the reliability of the fastener packaging in such delivery conditions to maximize the negative impact of any external factors on the plant's products. After all, today the most convenient way of delivery is by water. A port with mobile and very powerful cranes was built specifically for unloading ships for this project.

Over the past year, we have strengthened our position in the project by concluding a contract for the next supply of fasteners. The capacities of ZVK BERVEL are ready to provide the facility with products until the construction is fully completed. It is expected that the Ruppur NPP will be put into operation sequentially: the first unit will begin operation in 2023, and the second in 2024.
